Based on your content’s subject matter, final use, and target audience, your dedicated PM handpicks a team of linguists and a set of tools from our advanced translation technology.
First, a professional translator works on your content, using your reference material, translation memories, glossaries, and style guides. After that, an editor reviews the translation to ensure correct meaning and terminology. The edited document is then returned to the translator, who implements the required changes and proofreads the document for spelling and grammar.
Finally, your PM ensures there are no terminology or punctuation mistakes, deploying linguistic quality assurance (LQA) tools such as ApSIC Xbench.
04. Client Review
For those wanting total control over their content
As an optional step in our language translation process, your in-country experts can review our translation before we move on to the formatting and layout stage. Your changes will be reviewed by our linguists and implemented within your translation memory, glossary, and style guide for future projects.
05. Formatting & Layout
Your translations. Handled with care
Once all the previous translation process steps are completed, our desktop publishing (DTP) team prepares your translations in their final form, matching the original material’s layout, file format, and software. We’ll also fine-tune your translation to suit your target audience’s cultural nuances, applying any formatting or layout changes recommended by you or your PM during the project analysis stage.
06. Quality Control & Delivery
A final check to ensure your requirements are fulfilled
Now it’s time for your PM to assemble all your deliverables and perform a quality-control check to ensure that your instructions have been followed, the formatting and layout are correct, and the graphics are localized and properly positioned—all leading to first-class output in line with our commitment to translation quality. After this check, your PM delivers all the completed files to you.
